Minecraft 1.0 Released
0It has been two years or so since notch ( the creator of the game) released the first alpha version of the game Minecraft and now it has been officially released for PC. I have been playing 1.0 and most of the bugs that i was experiencing in the beta release has disappeared. For the people that don’t know what Minecraft is. I’ll briefly explain what the game is, it is basically a game where you are able to craft items and find resources. when you have found what you need you can be as creative as you can to create what ever you can think of. That is just a basic explication of the game but there is more then what i have explained to the game. Now that Minecraft is released Notch can work on advertising the game to people rather then working on getting stable enough for people to play. But that’s now the only news about Minecraft it also has been announced that Minecraft will be released on the Xbox 360 soon and here is the trailer.

Microsoft wanting Companies to Get Rid of Windows XP
0During this week Microsoft has been wanting company’s to get rid of windows xp and to upgrade to windows 7 or 8 (when it is released). Microsoft has released a date when XP and office 2003 will stop being supported and will no longer receive security patches and fixes. Which this date will be April 14th. I’m would say that because xp has been around so long most of security holes would be patched which is what most corporations want.
Google Chrome Turns Three

I first remember when I first started up Google chrome, it was so much faster then Firefox and still is.I like how in chrome you don’t have to restart your browser after installing a plugin it just works. I also like how the ram usage is a lot less then firefox. I know firefox has included a lot of new features in its latest release but i just like the experence that you have in google chrome. Well anyway that’s a small rant on why I like Google chrome.

Windows 8 Not Going To Have native support of Dolby’s Technologies
0Microsoft previous operating systems have supported Dolby Digital out of the box but Dolby have recently had a conference call with investors to say that Windows 8 will not support Dolby technologies out of the box. Which is a worry for some of us people that use the technology daily that watch DVDs in windows media player. But it looks like that i will likely have to change to vlc for watching 5.1 surround sound DVDs which does support Dolby.
Anyway that is what i think of windows 8 not going to have native support for the Dolby Technologies. Please leave a comment on what you think.
